【Violation on Human Right: Forced demolishment of civilian residence by Taiwanese government on March 28, 2012】

On March 28 2012, a normal, legal and within which were living citizens' house, was violently torn with Taipei City Government's permission, in the name of Urban Renewal. Though the government insists on the act's legitimacy that it is allowed clear in the Urban Renewal Act, they still cannot deny that the act has already violated the Constitution of R.O.C. in which people's right of abode should be protected beyond any other laws. During the spontaneous protests held by students, scholars, professors, director, and all kinds of social workers, the police have abused their power to tackle these defenseless protestors. Despite all the discords, the house was flattened to the ground.
